Description
Trijicon RMR Type 2 Red Dot Sight (RM01) is the version with no brightness buttons to think about — a sensor sets the 3.25 MOA dot to suit the light and you leave it alone. That is the whole point of the RM01: one less thing to manage on a duty or carry pistol. Around it is the patented housing that steers slide and recoil forces away from the lens and electronics, in forged aluminium.

No, the RM01 is the automatic-LED model, so a sensor controls brightness and there are no manual settings. If you want to choose the level yourself, the adjustable-LED RM06, RM07 and RM09 do that.
Which RMR dot size makes sense for me?
On the RMR Type 2 the 3.25 MOA dot of the RM01 is the all-rounder, sitting in the middle of the three sizes. The 1.0 MOA dot favours precision and the 6.5 MOA dot favours picking the dot up fast.
